New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The much-awaited ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’, featuring Bollywood star Salman khan, is unlikely to hit the theatres this Eid amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has forced the country come to a virtiual standstill.
It’s been almost a decade-long tradition that a Salman Khan movie hits the 70-mm screens every Eid, but this time, it seems that the movie which was earlier to be released on 22nd May, won't be releasing anytime soon.
As per media reports, the filming of Radhe has not finished yet.
“Radhe will be pushed ahead for sure. We have got two songs to shoot, there is some patch work left of about five days or so, we also have editing that is left. We don't know when the situation will be normal and when we can shoot and finish our pending work,” news agency PTI quoted a source as saying.
This will be a debut movie of singer Arjun Kanungo, as an actor. Arjun is recognised for his amazing remix-melodies. Apart from Salman Khan and Arjun Kanungo, the film casts Disha Patani who is sharing the screen with Bajrangi Bhaijaan for the second time after Bharat.
Most of the Salman Khan movies that were released on the occasion of Eid have proven to be blockbusters in the past, be it Wanted which was released in 2009, Dabangg or Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Directed by Prabhudeva, Radhe is the third collaboration between Salman and the director after Wanted and last year's Dabangg 3. The film also features Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.
It is produced by Sohail Khan and Reel Life Production Pvt Limited under the banner of Salman Khan Films.
