New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: Jharkhand Academic Council on Wednesday declared the class 10th board exams results 2020. The students waiting for the results can check their results on the official website of JAC at  jac.nic.in.

Jharkhand Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto declared the class 10th results 2020 via press briefing. A total of 2.88 lakh (2,88,928) students cleared the secondary exam successfully out of 3.85 lakh (3,85,144) students appeared, which means that a total of 75.015 of students cleared the class 10th exams. This year, the pass percentage of boys is 74.25 while girls’ pass per cent is 75.88.

Apart from jac.nic.in, the students waiting for the Jharkhand class 10th board results can also check their scorecard on jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jharresults.nic.in.  

Students who fail to clear the exams or are unsatisfied with the marks can appear for Jharkhand Board Compartmental/Improvement exam. Application forms for Compartmental/Improvement Exam will be available after the results are declared.

The students have to log in to the official website of JAC and fill the roll number and other details on the website to get their results. To ease students, here are the steps which they can follow to check their Jharkhand class 10th board results 2020:

 

Step 1: Logon to the official website of JAC at jac.nic.in / jacresults.com

Step 2: Click on the ‘Jharkhand 10th Result 2020’ link

Step 3: Enter your exam roll number and other details asked on the website

Step 4: Verify your details on the website

Step 5: Your Jharkhand class 10th board results 2020 will be displayed on your screen

Step 6: Download your results or you can also take a print out for future reference

 

A total of 3.8 lakh students appeared for the Jharkhand class 10th board exams this year. The JAC conducted the exams from February 11th to February 28th, 2020.

The results for Jharkhand class 10th board exams are scheduled to be declared in May this year, however, the outbreak of coronavirus and the lockdown imposed to curb the spread of the deadly pathogen delayed the Jharkhand class 10th board exams results 2020.

The lockdown hampered the completion of the evaluation work on time, leading to a delay in the declaration of Class 10 Results. In 2019, a total of 70.77% of students had passed the 10th board exams, while 57% of students had passed the Class 12 exams
