New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Afghanistan leg spinner Rashid Khan on Wednesday scripted his third hat-trick in the shortest version of the game. The 21-year-old acheived the feat in the ongoing match between Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers. Rashid dismissed Jack Edwards, James Vince and Jordan Silk to complete his hat-trick. He scalped the wickets during the 11th and 13th over. At first he got James vince caught behind, then dismissed Jack Edwards via LBW and finally bamboozled Jordan Silk.

BBL's official handle tweeted the video of Rashid's hat-trick and captioned the post as -- "He's done it! A hat-trick for Rashid Khan! What a moment #BBL09".

Earlier in 2017, Rashid Khan had scalped hat-trick in a T20 against Jamaica Thalaivas in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He has also picked four wickets in four balls in international cricket.

Big Bash League (BBL) on Wednesday took a hilarious jibe at Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan, after the batsman was dismissed for a duck.  "We are sorry to inform you that there will be no unmissable Rashid Khan batting highlights from today's match. He's out for a duck #BBL09," it tweeted.

The player has been setting the tournament ablaze with his quickfire knocks with bat. He has been using a camel bat in the this edition of BBL, and it has garnered a lot of attention. The batsman, however, failed to trouble the scores against Sydney Sikers in the ongoing match. In the match, Strikers kept losing wickets at regular intervals managing to put just 135 on baord in the stipulated 20 overs.

Rashid Khan will continue to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2020 season. His sensational form comes ahead of the World T20 set to take place in Asutralia this year.
